Une presentation de Nicolas Godon et de ses deux premiers romans. On those six days et The Lost Son À venir, des critiques de ces deux livres !!!
Born in France in 1976, Nicolas Godon immigrated in Canada for his thirstiest birthday. As only child,he had imagination and felt that it would be a shame to forget all the little stories he had in his head. In 1999, he started writing some little stories. The first two novels were written in French. Both were completed but never reviewed. The next two novels were written in English. They were completed in 2003. The review was done three years after. Nicolas arrived in Canada and met a friend who “stumbled” on the novels and pushed him to go further. From that moment, he adopted a new motto: “Stop existing, Start living.” On those six days The Devil does not exist. That was what Nick, June and Timothy used to think. As brothers and sister, they had to follow their father in a lighthouse to spend the next few years of their life. It could sound long but soon the children will discover that their time on earth could be quickly shortened. There is something in the lighthouse, something powerful and evil. Soon enough the three of them will have to prove their strength and courage to face a menace that goes far beyond that they had ever imagined. The Devil exists and it is living now in each of them, growing their fear, their anger and their appetite for hatred. The Lost son Meet Jason Franklin, a man whose life had been wrecked twenty five years ago when his wife had run away from him with his child. In a world of deception and distrust, Jason finally gets to find the track of his lost son. All he needs is to restore the truth, but in the shades, his wife is watching his every move. She had sworn to keep her child away from him. She is psychotic, paranoid, dangerous and she has a plan. Now even Jason ’s worst nightmare would become like heaven compare to what she had prepared for him… and corpses would appear a bit everywhere in the usually so quiet town. |
